ABOUT THIS HOST SITE
One Forest is a forest farm and woodland activity space located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on 5 woodland acres of a 21 acre Nelson County family homestead (Reed Family). It is an ever-changing temperate deciduous woodland where Spruce Creek murmurs as wildlife abound. Through productive conservation, we strive to preserve this woodland.
We primarily spend our days at the Cabin Camp in One Forest.
Cabin Camp includes a humanure compost outhouse, a cabin for emergency cover, and play structures surrounding a fire circle. Play structures include, but are not limited to a mud kitchen, forts built by children, and a slack line.
