Kelly McGill Kelley serves as the Director of Notchcliff Nature Programs and a Lead teacher of the forest preschool. She oversees all of the programs operating at Notchcliff including the Forest preschool, the Homeschool Co-operative, Summer camps, the Seedlings & Caregiver Nature series and Elderflowers. She leads preschool several mornings a week while also supporting teachers in nature-based and forest school emergent curriculum, safety practices, and community building. Kelley started teaching in nature-based & outdoor early childhood educational settings three years ago and has received her certificate in Nature-based Early Childhood Education from Antioch University. She started her teaching journey as a special educator in Idaho through Teach for America and earned her teaching licenses from Boise State University. During leisure time, she finds joy in many outdoor activities with her two-year-old son. Her interests extend to traveling, reading, paddleboarding, hiking, and other various forms of fitness & movement. |
