Forest Days Outdoor Learning
Baltimore, MD

The Forest Days outdoor learning program is a collaboration between ANBE facilitators and the learning community at participating Title 1 public schools. Children in K-1st grade experience hands-on learning each week, which enhances engagement with the curriculum while providing holistic learning across developmental domains in areas such as: STEM/STEAM, language and literacy, and social-emotional learning.

We strive to increase equitable access to nature-based, environmental education in low-resourced and traditionally underserved communities in Title 1 public schools in the greater Baltimore, MD region.

Seedlings Outdoor Play Groups
Baltimore, MD

The Seedlings Outdoor Play Group invites caregivers and their young children (ages 0–5) to explore nature in the green spaces surrounding Title I Judy Centers, located at select community public schools.

This welcoming program gives families a gentle way to connect with their children while supporting growth in language, literacy, and kindergarten readiness. Through hands-on experiences, Seedlings sparks toddlers’ natural curiosity, fostering executive functioning, empathy, respect, and joyful active play.

There are four Judy Centers in Baltimore County who partner with ANBE to receive this program seasonally.
