As educators, many of our summers are spent with students; don't teachers deserve summer camp fun, too? Join us for the first ERAFANS Nature Teacher Summer Camp, hosted at Seacoast Science Center in Rye, NH! Like the summer camps that so many of you offer to children, this summer camp for teachers offers opportunities to learn new skills and explore creative arts with friends.
Artists with nature-centric styles and expertise will guide participants in creating beautiful pieces relevant to working with children outdoors. With the beautiful New England coastline as our backdrop, we will journal, paint, print, and hold space for discussing the many ways to adapt these art projects to our work.
This training is ideal for educators, caregivers, administrators, and others working with children. Attendees work in all kinds of settings, from nature-based schools and forest kindergartens to public schools, traditional preschools, HeadStart programs, childcare centers, daycare, and more.
