House Bill 525 enacted July 1st, 2023 to establish an Outdoor Preschool Licensing Pilot Program in Maryland. The pilot began with members of a statewide Stakeholder's Advisory Group working with the Maryland State Department of Education to draft regulations for the launch of the pilot with outdoor preschool participants. The regulations have been drafted, but advocacy is needed to ensure the regulations will be feasible for the pilot's success. The public comment period is open until Dec. 1st and we need your help!
