Abby was born and raised in Iowa and grew up spending much of her time outside. Abby attended the University of Iowa where she was a proud Hawkeye and a member of the women’s soccer team.

Following college, she worked for several years at various wineries and vineyards in New Zealand and California before completing her Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Denver and for 6 years, Abby was a kindergarten and 1st grade teacher in Aspen, CO. More recently, Abby worked for a non-profit arts organization in Colorado in the programs and grants department.

Abby is excited to be part of the ERFANS team to further her shared commitment to life-long learning and the natural world.
