It was not until she took an administrative position, where her new responsibilities included facilitating conferences, designing professional development, and mentoring new educators that she found her true passion. She always attempts to build awareness in her community surrounding nature based learning by supporting local like-minded organizations and striking up conversations with anyone interested in forest school, even if it is just the cashier at Trader Joe’s. In her free time, she loves finding ways to incorporate nature into her life, taking pictures and spending time with her family (three children and a pittie mix puppy). Through her own personal journey, she has found the many important benefits for incorporating nature into your daily life and regulating nervous systems. She is excited to provide opportunities for professional development locally within nature based education in the midwest region while supporting ERAFANS and their mission within their existing network. |
