Leah is a Baltimore native who has been working with young children since her early adolescence. Inspired by a love of nature and play-based learning, she has built much of her teaching experience through camp counseling for all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. As an educator for the National Park Service, various public and independent schools in the Baltimore area, and several outdoor schools, Leah has built a versatile toolbox of teaching strategies for any environment, her favorite of which is the forest classroom. Leah loves foraging, hiking, rock climbing, gardening, birdwatching, and lying in the grass with a good book.
